Jesse Wong, Senior Business Development Manager

 

Wong Dii Sing (Jesse) was appointed as the Senior Business Development Manager of Konzen Clean Energy Sdn Bhd since Feb 2011. 

 

Jesse graduated with a B.Sc (Hons) in Resource Chemistry from the University Malaysia Sarawak. Prior to his current designation, he was the Sales Engineer in the Konzen Group from 2001 until 2006 at their Kuching office. He was then, responsible for products and systems sales for the group’s operation in East Malaysia. He is familiar with the portable water treatment system, water demineralization plant, ultra and high pure water treatment plant (UPW & HPW), membrane bioreactor (MBR), electrodeionization (EDI), chemical and biological wastewater treatment system and etc.

 

In year 2006, Jesse was actively involved in promoting the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) biogas projects in East Malaysia, targeting the prospective oil palm mills. In 2007, he managed to implement the first CDM biogas project in Miri, Sarawak.  Subsequently, he continues to create awareness on global warming issues and promote CDM projects as one of the actions to reduce global warming.   He managed to convince the other millers in the region to implement closed anaerobic digester system to reduce their emission of greenhouse gases (GHG) to the environment.

 

Currently he spearheads the development of business opportunities for biogas plant in the region including Indonesia and heads the market analysis for clean energy new products and systems development. He also oversees all the CDM related activities for the group.
